So all my animations so far have been done in Flash MX. Recently I upgraded, quite a bit, from MX to CS4! I am working on two projects, but the process has been rather gradual. The rain has finally let up after almost 3 weeks straight, so hopefully I will be able to get out more, and won't feel so lethargic... also, I would kill to change my username....

how does cs4 compare to MX? whats differnet?
MX is ancient, 2002 I believe, CS4 is the latest version. CS4 has a better interface, and can do a lot more. It has filters such as blur and glow; MX does not. So using CS4 will increase the visual experience in my animations. CS4 has more tools as well, and it runs Actionscript 3.0 not Actionscript 2.0.

A lot of folks on the site are HATING the new version of flash.
I haven't used it myself, but some pretty awesome stuff has been made with CS4.
Visually, at least.
Your current username also needs an upgrade I think.
CS4 suck ass. Get Macromedia 8.
To correct destructin, I think Tom is the person to pm to change your username. I asked him to change mine a couple months ago and he did. MichaelHurst > NG-Unit
Oh thanks man, I PMed Wade and didn't get a response, so you may be right.
You might not get a response from Tom right away either. He (probably) has a lot to do so it might take awhile.
Reasonable. I'm eager, but there isn't really a rush. I would like a username change before my next animation, but I'm only about 1/3 of the way into it.
